We Mess with Texas.

Earlier this year, the DLDF partnered with The Woodlands Pride, Inc. a non-profit in Texas. Their mission is to connect, celebrate, educate, and foster relationships in the LGBTQIA+ community while promoting equality, unity, and love in [Texas] and beyond. Woodlands Pride, Inc. sued the state of Texas for passing S.B 12, a law that criminalized “sexually oriented performances” that “appeal to the prurient interest in sex.” The Dramatists Legal Defense Fund came to the aid of Woodlands Pride and wrote an amicus brief on their behalf.
