Friends of George’s, a drag theater company, claims the law is overreaching and unconstitutional. The DLDF bolstered this agreement with an amicus brief adding: the [Adult Entertainment Act’s] staggering vagueness and breadth will chill the speech rights of writers, performers, and association rights of audiences, as well as further marginalize the LGBTQIA+ community in Tennessee, as the law is seemingly designed for selective enforcement.
